Travel Wifi: Personal MiFi On-The-Go
How many times have you been disappointed by hotel wifi and had to hunt for Internet?
If you have travelled abroad at least once you know the struggle. You could waste hours looking for a decent connection and even risk getting your information stolen if you end up using public/free wifi. Luckily the French start-up Travel Wifi stepped into the business in 2014 and has been saving travelers’ lives – and pockets – ever since.
What does Travel Wifi Offer?
Travel Wifi offers pocket size dongles that create 4G network around themselves and allow travelers to stay connected in over 120 destinations. The hotspots can be connected up to 10 devices (smartphone, tablet, computer, kindle) at once and comes with 3GB/day Premium plan in Europe & 1GB/day outside of Europe. If you know your data consumption would be low you can go for their Starter plans too. The average daily cost of Premium Travel Wifi is €8 in France and €12 in non-European countries. Your devices don’t have to be unlocked and you certainly don’t have to worry about roaming fees ever again.
Easy to get and hustle free return
Travel Wifi is available at Tourist Information Desks in Parisian Airports. However, if your journey doesn’t include neither Charles de Gaulle nor Orly Airports, the startup offers delivery within Europe. Alternatively, Travel Wifi proposes self-pickup option from their Paris office. Our advice; have your mifi booked prior to your actual visit. That way you will save some time and make sure that there will be a hotspot available for you. You can book your hotspot here.
At the end of your trip, you will just place the Travel Wifi and all the other accessories in the envelope provided and drop it from any mailbox on the street.
